[more]Since graduating in 2017 I've lived in Washington, D.C. where I'm beginning my fourth year with DCI Group, a public affairs consulting firm specializing in strategic communications, media relations, and digital advocacy. At DCI, I manage advocacy campaigns to overcome clients' legislative, regulatory, and communications challenges at the federal, state, and local levels of government. An experience I've particularly enjoyed was relocating out-of-state for three months to assist company leadership in managing a statewide ballot initiative campaign.
[more]Shane Burke is a journalist covering policy, demographics and culture. He combines data analysis and narrative reporting to shed light on pressing issues and trends. Born in New York, Burke studied Government at Dartmouth College and recently received a Master's in Data Journalism from Columbia University. As a government major at Dartmouth, he took courses on American politics and completed an internship with the White House's Office of Correspondence in 2014.
