Beth Robinson '86 has had a long and momentous legal career; this week has not stopped that trajectory. On August 5, 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Robinson to serve as a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. On Monday, November 1, 2021, her nomination was confirmed in the United States Senate by a 51–45 vote.

Roland Mansilla graduated from Dartmouth College in 2013 with a B.A. in Government and Romance Studies. While at Dartmouth, Roland participated in the Management and Leadership Development Program and interned at the U.S. Treasury. He also played water polo and was a member of Fire & Skoal. Upon graduating, Roland received the Renna Family Fund in the Romance Languages Prize and was awarded a Rockefeller Memorial Fellowship by the Department of Government.

Carley Markovitz graduated from Dartmouth in 2010, where she received her B.A. in Government with a double-minor in Spanish and Environmental Studies. While taking fantastic courses with Government professors Lisa Baldez and John Carey, Carley focused on Latin American policy and politics and spent her junior fall living in Buenos Aires studying international trade. After graduation, Carley returned to Argentina and spent several months working for the Foundation for Sustainable Development, where she became interested in the intersection between urban planning and climate change.
