Join us for "Conservatism, the Presidency, and the Future of American Democracy," a conversation with The Honorable Michael R. Pence, 48th Vice President of the United States. The Honorable Michael R. Pence will be recognized as the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center's 2024-25 Class of 1930 Fellow. The Class of 1930 Fellowship was established by the members of the class to continue the tradition begun by President Ernest Martin Hopkins of bringing distinguished men and women to campus for brief visits.

The conversation will explore the stakes of the 2024 election, the future of American democracy, and the future of American conservatism and the Republican party. The conversation will be moderated by: Russell Muirhead, Robert Clements Professor of Democracy and Politics, Adjunct Professor, Tuck School of Business and Co-Director, Political Economy Project; Herschel Nachlis, Associate Director and Senior Policy Fellow, Rockefeller Center; Research Assistant Professor of Government; and Emma Wolfe, Chief of Staff to the President, New York University.

This event is part of the 2024 Election Speaker Series, and is being co-sponsored by the Rockefeller Center, Dartmouth Dialogues, and the Office of the President at Dartmouth.
