Frederic Bastiat (1801-50) has been described (by Schumpeter) as "the most brilliant economic journalist who ever lived." He is also one of the least known. In this PEP-sponsored talk, the life-long student of classical liberalism, David M. Hart, discusses his forthcoming edition of Bastiat's most ambitious work, the Economic Harmonies. The event is free and open to the public. Tuesday, January 7, at 5:00 pm in Rocky 1.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
