Alumni Update: Eli Derrow '15

Eli Derrow graduated from Dartmouth in 2015 with a B.A. in Government. While at Dartmouth, Eli worked closely with Government Professor Brendan Nyhan as a research assistant for a number of published academic papers on topics such as state governor scandals, political misinformation, and the prosecutorial bias of U.S. attorneys. Eli also participated in the Government Foreign Study Program at the London School of Economics, where coursework included Politics of the European Union and 21st Century Warfare. These experiences helped Eli build a variety of skills, from advanced data analysis to writing on complex topics, that have been utilized throughout his career.

Following graduation from Dartmouth, Eli worked at a boutique management consulting firm in NYC, Kepler Cannon, which specializes in business strategy projects within the financial services sector. Eli then moved to AQR Capital Management, where he worked closely with institutional investors as part of the business development and client strategies team.

More recently, Eli received his MBA with distinction from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and now works as a Consultant at Bain & Company in Boston. In his free time, he is an active scuba diver, snowboarder, and drummer.
