After graduation, I spent four years as a strategy consultant with EY-Parthenon, and last month I started my MBA at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. I also recently started an internship with a venture capital fund that invests in better-for-you and sustainable food and beverage brands. Although it may seem that none of these pursuits directly relate to political science, I apply the knowledge and skills I developed through the Government Department on a near-daily basis – more specifically, data analysis (I took several courses cross-listed with QSS) and effective written communication. I also remain very engaged with government and politics in my free time, by volunteering on campaigns and following recent developments related to public policy and political campaigns. I'd like to shout out to my phenomenal and impactful Government Professors – Brendan Nyhan, Sonu Bedi, Yusaku Horiuchi, Michael Herron, Lucas Swaine, Dean Lacy, and Linda Fowler – for their mentorship and for making my time at Dartmouth so academically enriching. Current students should always feel free to reach out if I can ever be helpful!
