Veterans Day Flag Raising and Run

Join Jason Mosel, Marine Corps Veteran, to raise the American flag on the Dartmouth Green in honor of Veterans Day, and to honor President Wright. 5 mile optional run to follow.

Jason Mosel, a Marine veteran and a network engineer for Information, Technology and Consulting who serves as the leader of the Dartmouth Veterans Employee Resource Network, will run 100 miles around campus to honor the Marine Corps birthday and Veterans Day.

Mosel will begin his run at 5 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, at the Moosilauke Lodge. Mosel will run the 50 mile route from Moosilauke to campus through the day on November 10, arriving on campus in the evening. He will complete the remaining 50 miles of his run on the Dartmouth campus, finishing on Veterans Day, November 11. You can follow Jason's run in real time here.

At 6:30 am on November 11, Jason will raise the American flag on the Dartmouth Green in honor of Veterans Day, and to honor President James Wright’s commitment to Dartmouth’s veteran community. Dartmouth community members are encouraged to join Jason for the flag raising and are welcome to join Jason on a 5 mile lap around campus to honor President Wright following the flag raising. Refreshments from Lou’s Bakery will be provided.
